PRACTICE

Eduardo is an expert in the analysis, design, creation, implementation and training of integrity policies and anti-corruption controls for public and private entities. He has extensive experience in the area of money laundering and terrorist financing prevention.

He currently participates as Lead Counsel in various consultancies, adapting the internal regulations of national and international organizations, to comply with the provisions of the SNA framework, as well as with the provisions of international best practices in the field, such as the FCPA, UKBA and ISO 37001.

He has coordinated several audits carried out to different financial institutions, regarding compliance with the General Provisions referred to in Article 115 of the Law of Credit Institutions, particularly on compliance with the requirements for the integration of files provided for in said law.

He has participated in the preparation and review of trust agreements, amendment agreements, trust termination and substitution agreements, as well as in several legal opinions, involving the analysis of the applicable legal regulations regarding the prevention and identification of transactions with resources of illicit origin, among others.

He has experience in the execution of programs for the analysis and monitoring of fiduciary operations, as well as in the implementation of policies and procedures for improvement in this area.
