PRACTICE

Ricardo Velázquez has extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Throughout his career, he has structured several financing transactions in the securities and banking sectors, mainly in the mortgage, state and municipal and infrastructure sectors, specializing in highway and PPS projects.

From a technical point of view, he specializes in credit risk models, operational risk models, financial guarantees, and pricing models. Due to his academic background, he incorporates various statistical techniques for the solution of complex problems, such as Monte Carlo methods and generalized linear models.

He joined CHM Compliance to develop the risk and process practice, as well as to complement his expertise in operational risk models with the development of anti-bribery management systems and integrity policies.

Ricardo also served as director of the development planning unit of the Ministry of Finance and was an associate at McKinsey & Co.
