PRACTICE

Mitzi Reyes works as an outsourced Compliance Officer in the area of personal data protection for maat.ai, a client that is certified in Personal Data Protection by NYCE and recognized by INAI. She leads the monitoring of compliance with anti-corruption schemes and integrity policies and is also in charge of the implementation of the CHM Compliance Integral Management System.

Mitzi was a Personal Data Protection certification auditor for the NYCE certification body, where she actively participated as an auditor in certification projects for both Management Systems and Information Security, as well as in the evaluation of Binding Self-Regulatory Schemes. Within the certification body, he supported in the coordination of accreditation activities before the Mexican accreditation entity (ema), as well as for the authorization of the sanitary registration of the Authorized Third Party verification unit before COFEPRIS.  She also worked in the Quality department at NYCE, being responsible for compliance with the internal audit program, follow-up of its results, identification of corrective and preventive actions and risks to the fairness of the organization, attended external audits of the organization and evaluated the implementation of the different management systems.

Her professional background has been focused on conformity assessment in the Mexican context, however, during her career she has participated in compliance inspections of software development processes under good development practices, she has performed activities as a software quality assurance engineer and as a junior consultant of management processes in organizations focused on information technology.
